Our bodies need many nutrients daily, not just for good health, but also to help prevent diseases. We may select to take supplements of Vitamins and Minerals. However, generally speaking, our bodies absorb and use nutrients better when they occur naturally in our foods. Many of the needed nutrients are plentiful in our Fruits and Vegetables.

Some Good Sources of Vitamin A are:
Apricots, Chicory, Carrots, Mango,
Papaya, Pumpkin, Spinach, Watercress
Good Sources of Vitamin C include:
Cabbage, Grapefruit, Guava Paste,
Mango, Orange, Papaya, Pineapple,
Pumpkin, Spinach, Watercress
These foods are high in Potassium:
Apricots, Avocado, Banana, Cantaloupe,
Plantain, Pomegranate, Potato, Pumpkin,
Cassava, Dried beans, Guava, Papaya, Yam
Include these foods in your diet for more Iron:
Cassava Flour, Dried beans,
Millet, Molasses, Potato, Spinach
And Good sources of Folic Acid include:
Avocado, Beets, Cabbage, Chicory,
Dried beans, Orange Juice, Spinach
